Kenneth Eugene LeFurgey, 66, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the lake house in Wolf Creek, Montana. His viewing will be Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4-6 p.m. at the Benton Funeral Home. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24,2025 at the Fort Benton United Methodist Church with Pastor Carl Ellis officiating. His burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery with a fellowship gathering to be held at the Senior Center in Fort Benton. Ken was born August 11, 1958, to Howard and Lois (Scott) LeFurgey of Loma, Montana. Ken was raised in Loma and Fort Benton graduating from Fort Benton High School in 1976. He had various jobs working at Fort Benton Lumber, for Chuck Bateman, Tire Rama in Rudyard, later returning to the family farm in 1979, where he worked with his father. He married Jayne Protsman on March 3, 1979, and had three sons: Kevin, Scott and Alec.

Ken was active in the community, serving on many boards and committees such as, the Loma school board, the FSA, cemetery board, trustee of the Fort Benton United Methodist Church and longtime member. Ken enjoyed farming, traveling to Holter Lake with his family, waterskiing, watching NASCAR, attending concerts and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Electric City Speedway where he would race his car #11.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard LeFurgey and one sister Carol LeFurgey and his mother and father in-law: Mr. & Mrs. Protsman.

Ken is survived by his wife Jayne LeFurgey, three sons, Kevin (Kandice), Scott (Misty) and Alec (Carissa) LeFurgey. His 6 grandchildren, whom he was so proud of: Stetson, Kaydyn, Garrett, Bailey, Myles, and Jenner. His mother Lois LeFurgey, two sisters, Kathy LeFurgey and Joanne Secrease. Brother and sister in-laws: Chuck and Corrine, Doris and Rick and Rich. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
