Mrs. Amanda Couzzort LeFurgey, age 46 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was born on November 30, 1977 in Rome, and was the daughter of the late Cecil Couzzort and Barbara Forrester.
Mrs. LeFurgey was of the Baptist Faith.
Ms. LeFurgey is survived by her husband, Jeffery LeFurgey; daughter, Kayla LeFurgey Jackson (Andrew); considerable daughter, Chastity Knipl (Damien); granddaughter, Keziyah Jackson; considerable granddaughters, River Knipl and Maggie Knipl; considerable sister, Candice Norrell; and a number of in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. LeFurgey is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lisa Reynolds; and brother, Cecil "Bo" Couzzort, Jr.
Mrs. LeFurgey was a hard worker and enjoyed providing for her family. She attended Haralson County High School. She was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed many hobbies including reading, fishing, working in the yard and spending time with her family. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a grandmother. Mrs. LeFurgey cared for all of the children in her life and loved doing crafts with them and teaching them new skills. Mrs. LeFurgey was loved by many and will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
A visitation service for Mrs. LeFurgey will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family has respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the funeral home in helping with the cost of the funeral.
