Ken Loeb, age 80 of Henderson, NV passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
He was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Sarah Loeb.
Ken married his childhood sweetheart and was a devoted, loving husband and father. He graduated from Reavis High School in Burbank, IL. Ken had several careers including being a barber, firefighter, and worked in facilities management for Consolidated High School District 230 in Illinois.
Ken is survived by his spouse of 59 years, Diane (Graves) Loeb, his children Shari Brown (Michael), Jason Loeb (Patti) and his late son Dr. Kevin Loeb (Jackie). Ken was a loving and proud Papa to Ryan Brown (Kristen), Connor Brown, Jenna Loeb, Lizzy Loeb, Zach Loeb and Great Grandpa to Emmie Brown. Ken was preceded in death by his nine siblings.
Ken loved his family, friends, and music. Family meant everything to him and was a proud dad, papa, and great papa as well as uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. In his younger years, he played drums in a band performing for parties and weddings in the 1960’s. He continued his love for music and enjoyed listening to big band music and music from the 60’s.
There will be no services.
