Kenneth David Meyer
age 55, formerly of Park Falls, died unexpectedly on Monday February 19, 2024, in Windom, MN. He was born on November 30, 1968, in Park Falls, the son of Ronald and Patricia (Tapplin) Meyer. He was a graduate of Park Falls High School. On June 29, 1991, he married Lisa Westberg. The couple lived in Park Falls until 2014 when they moved to Weston. Ken worked at the Flambeau Paper Mill for seventeen years before becoming a Journeyman Electrician working for Hooper Corporation out of Madison. He enjoyed playing bags, softball, playing cards, hunting, fishing, and coaching school sports, especially wrestling. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of Weston, his children: Devon Meyer of Park Falls and Brittany (Colton) Ocker of Weston, his grandson Trenton, his father Ronald Meyer of Park Falls, (2)sisters: Wendy Meyer of Park Falls and Tammy Hantelman of Mankato, MN, his sister-in-law Susan Meyer of Phillips, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Meyer and brother Ronald Meyer.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Park Falls on Saturday February 24, 2024, at 11:00am. Rev. Gwen Downing will officiate.
A visitation will be held on Friday February 23, 2024, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the church and on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.

I´ll always remember his positivity... I´ll always remember his laugh and smile. My favorite memory is when we would just talk and have heart to hearts. He definitely showed me what a real friend was

So sorry to hear about Kenny passing and the Class of 86 is sending our condolences on this very sad occurrence as Kenny had many close classmates through the years. Wish you much comfort from family and friends during this time.
