Kenneth Wayne Moore, 87, of Trinity, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Madisonville, Texas. He was born on June 5, 1938, to Clyde and Christine Moore in Jacksonville, Texas.

Kenneth had a passion for barbecuing, frequently competing in cookoffs throughout Madisonville, where his smoky creations delighted friends and family alike. He found peace and joy in fishing, often spending hours by the water reflecting on life's simple pleasures. His love extended to the dogs he cherished, the loyal companions who brought laughter and warmth to his home.

Kenneth was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Dorothy Moore; and grandson, Christopher Atkinson. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Bennett (Carl Kenney) of Nacogdoches, Texas, Karen Holdridge of Madisonville, Texas, and Judy Moore of Arlington, Washington; grandchildren, Kenneth Atkinson (Brandi), Clayton Henderson (Ashlee), John Walker (Shannon Williamson), Mary Chase, Wesley Holdridge, and Nick Parker (Karli); fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Moore (Pat) of Willis, Texas; and numerous extended family.

A memorial service for Kenneth will be 2 P.M., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Dorcas Wills Memorial Baptist Church, Trinity, Texas. Dr. Bill Jones will officiate the service. The family invites everyone to stay for a meal following the service.
