Kenneth Patrick Moore, age 78, passed away on February 12, 2026.

Born in Detroit on September 26, 1947. Ken was the beloved son of Mary Jane Moore and the late Kenneth M. Moore.

Ken was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda; A loving father to his son, Michael J. Moore (Lindsey); and a caring stepfather to Amanda Mekjian (Todd), Luke Cloutier, and Alexandria Beavis (James). Ken was a cherished brother to Michael L. Moore and Janice Persichini (Nick).

Ken’s greatest joy was being “Grandpa” to his beloved grandchildren: Madilyn, Isabella, Michael Z., Stella, Nora, Easton, Penelope, Rosalie, Conrad, and Violet. Ken treasured his time spent with them and created memories that will live on in their hearts forever. Ken also had a special love for his animals, who brought him comfort and companionship throughout the years.

Ken proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a combat soldier in the United States Army. This inspired Ken to become very knowledgeable about military history which was reflected in his patriotic lifestyle. A hardworking man his entire life, Ken was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and steady presence. Ken became deeply devoted to his Catholic faith. His faith brought him strength, comfort, and peace, and it became an important foundation in his life. He found reassurance in prayer and in his relationship with God, which sustained him and gave him hope. Above all else, he loved his family. His courage and dedication was reflected in his deep commitment to those he loved and to the values he held dear.

Ken will be remembered for his devotion to family, his strength of character, his service to our country, and the unwavering love he showed to those closest to him. His legacy of hard work, loyalty, and love will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Ken will be greatly missed.
