Mr. Kenneth R. "Kenny" Newcomb of Ashley, IL was born into heavenly life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Bryan Manor in Centralia, IL. He had attained the age of 70 years, 7 months and 14 days.

Mr. Newcomb was born on February 2, 1955, in Centralia, IL, the son of Cecil and Edna (Rahn) Newcomb.

Kenny enjoyed many things in his life such as listening to music from Elvis to Johnny Cash or Kenny Rogers, going to church, jewelry, rings especially, and working word search puzzles. In his younger years he also enjoyed participating in The Special Olympics. Kenny worked as a line worker for the Washington County Vocational Workshop for many years. He was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, IL.

Kenny is survived by a brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Newcomb of Belleville, IL; sister, and Peggy Mitchell and husband Mark of Ashley, IL; 6 nieces, 2 nephews, many cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Donna Newcomb; brother, Jerry Newcomb; grandparents, Otto and Emilie (Koelling) Rahn and Jasper and Emma (Kane) Newcomb; and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, IL on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Stacey Tate officiating. Interment will follow in the Richview Cemetery in Richview, IL.

Friends may call at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Irvington, IL on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 12 P.M. until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Special Olympics, Friedens United Church of Christ, the Shriners Hospital or donor's choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
