Kenneth LeRoy Noall, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on April 13, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 30, 1929, to Irvin Simon Noall and Sarah Elizabeth Walter Noall, Ken was the youngest of five children.
Ken was preceded in death by his eternal companion, RouJean, his parents, a grandson, Brett Cox and his siblings: Maureen Hegsted, Norma Foxley, Phillis Robison, and Walter Noall.
He is survived by his six devoted children: Mark (Jana), Alan (Sonia), Jodi (Doug), Brad (Susan), Jackie (David), and Leslie (Craig), along with 49 grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren all of whom loved and adored him.
Ken was a proud graduate of the University of Utah, where he was a member of the Pi Tau Sigma Fraternity. After being drafted, he served honorably both active duty and as a reservist in the U.S. Army from January 1952 to January 1960.
He began a lifelong career in engineering, working for companies such as Marquart, Jetway, and Williams, before spending over 30 years with Boeing at Hill AFB. True to his nature, he officially retired at the age of 80-but never truly stopped working to help others.
As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ken served faithfully in many callings, but none more dear to him than teaching Gospel Doctrine-a calling he held for more than 20 years. He served a full-time mission in the England/Great Britain Mission from September 1949-November 1951 and was married and sealed to RouJean Ward in the Salt Lake Temple on September 8, 1955, beginning a legacy of faith, family, and service.
Ken loved the outdoors. He found joy and peace in fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time in nature. He was an Eagle Scout and lived by the principles of service, integrity, and quiet generosity. Whether quietly paying someone's rent, helping fund a missionary's service, or stopping by to fix a leaky faucet, Ken never hesitated to lift someone else's burden.
In his later years, Ken found unexpected joy at Chancellor Gardens, where he made many new friends and delighted in playing the cardio drums, winning at bingo, and sharing his contagious laugh, smile and hugs. He often said how much he loved his time there.
We extend special thanks to the loving staff at Chancellor Gardens and Symbii Hospice for making Ken's days happy and peaceful. Our family is deeply grateful for the kindness, love compassion, and exceptional care he received.
Above all, Ken will be remembered for his warm and unmistakable love. People were drawn to him-not just because he gave the world's best hugs, but because time with him made you feel seen, cherished, and truly valued. He never missed a chance to tell his children and grandchildren how precious they were and how glad he was that they were part of his eternal family.
He loved leading Family Home Evenings and teaching the gospel to his posterity. He often concluded with a heartfelt testimony of eternal families-expressing how happy he was that we could be together forever.
His was a life well-lived-full of faith, fun, purpose, and profound love. We miss him dearly and take comfort in knowing that families are forever.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Myers Mortuary 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy, UT. A viewing will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 AM. at the mortuary prior to the service. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
