Kenneth "Fuzzy" O'Hare

Rhodes, Michigan

Kenneth "Fuzzy" O'Hare, a man known for his handy skills, his humorous spirit, and his friendly demeanor, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at the Gladwin Pines with his loving family by his side. Born in Warren, Michigan, on July 15, 1951, to Roy and Martha (Cole) O'Hare, Fuzzy was a man who cherished his roots and the simple pleasures of life.

His father, Roy, instilled in him a love for farming, a passion that would stay with him throughout his life. Even after his father's passing, Fuzzy continued to work on the family farm, lending a hand to neighbors whenever they needed it. His work at Berthiaume Slaughterhouse spanned numerous years, where he was not just an employee but a part of a larger family.

The joy of Fuzzy's life was his family. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Martha, His son, Dennis O'Hare, and a daughter Sarah O'Hare, his cherished grandchildren, Kenneth Roy O'Hare, Logan and Ashleynn, will carry forward the legacy of kindness and perseverance that Fuzzy exemplified. His siblings, Mike (Sandy) O'Hare, Keith (Marlene) O'Hare, and Tim & (Janice Biskner) O'Hare, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, will remember Fuzzy for the laughter and joy he brought into their lives. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy, a son Kenny Jr. O'Hare and his brother, Dennis O'Hare.

Fuzzy's interests extended beyond the fields and the farm. He was a familiar sight on his golf cart, traversing the paths from Estey to Albright Shores, where he never missed an opportunity to stop and chat with friends and strangers alike. His easygoing nature and infectious laugh made every encounter with him a memorable one.

Those who knew Fuzzy will recall a man who could fix anything, a trait that earned him the affectionate nickname "Handy." His humor was as reliable as his skills with a toolbox, and his presence was a comfort to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Fuzzy was always ready with a joke to lighten your load, and always willing to lend a hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 11 am from the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home with Larry Wilson presiding with cremation to follow. On, Monday, friends may visit at the funeral home from 2 to 7 pm. On Tuesday, friends may visit from 10 am until time of service.
