Kenneth Opuda, 75 years old of Stafford Township passed away on May 20, 2024.
Ken is survived by his wife, Debra of 54 years, his brother Steven, his son Kenneth, his daughter and son-in-law Roberta and Edward, 3 grandchildren, Gabby, Kelly, and Jared and his niece Sharon.
Ken was a graduate of Saddle Brook High School and attended Teterboro School of Aeronautics. He was employed by Sunoco LP maintenance department for over 25 years.
Ken resided in Elmwood Park, NJ for 25 years and was a member of the Elmwood Park Fire Department.
After retiring, he and his wife settled down in Ocean County to be closer to the beach they loved so much, Long Beach Island. Countless memories were made with his family there.
Ken served as an active member of the Stafford EMS squad as an EMT, and was employed by Northeast Metro Ambulance. He enjoyed the time he spent with his fellow squad members who became his friends. He mostly enjoyed all the pizza stops they made during their shifts.
Ken loved animals, especially his dogs who would never leave his side. Ken had an easy going personality, great sense of humor, but will mostly likely be remembered for his love for pizza, ice cream, and being a devoted Miami Dolphins fan. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend his visitation Sunday June 2, 2024 from 1pm-4pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road Parsippany (973) 887-3235. Funeral Service to follow at 3:30pm
