Kenneth "Ken" Lloyd Perry, age 84, passed away peacefully on August 11,

2025, at Country Terrace assisted living in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, with

compassionate care provided by Moments Hospice.

Ken was born on May 6, 1941, in Crandon, Wisconsin, to Joe Perry and

Viola (Rosio) Perry. He grew up with strong family values and a deep

appreciation for hard work and the outdoors - principles that shaped the

man he became.

In 1962, Ken married the love of his life, Shirley Anne (Wildman) Perry,

beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, adventure, and

devotion to family. A skilled craftsman, Ken made his mark as a

building contractor and carpenter in the family business, Perry

Construction, where he worked with his brothers Tom and Dave. His work

was guided by precision, dedication, and pride in doing things the right

way. After retiring, he embraced a well-earned chapter of travel and

relaxation, making cherished memories with those he held dear.

Ken found great joy in the simple pleasures of life: deer hunting at the

family cabin in Gleason, Wisconsin, camping with friends, family, and

grandchildren, and cheering on local motor sports - especially as a

participant in the early years of Brush Run racing events. His love for

the outdoors was only matched by his love for his family, which remained

the center of his world.

Ken will be remembered for his generous spirit, quiet strength, and

unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of hard

work, family traditions, and unforgettable moments shared around

campfires, construction sites, and the Wisconsin woods he loved so much.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Shirley Perry; his

children, Mike (Cherie) Perry, and Brian Perry; five grandchildren and

two great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Leonard (Gladys) Perry, Tom

(Becky) Perry, and Dan Perry. He was preceded in death by his brother

Dave Perry. The family would like to thank Ken's nephew Joe Perry,

whose continual support and assistance made it possible for Ken to

remain in his beloved home as long as possible.

A service will be held at a later date.
