Ken was born in Chicago, grew up in Norridge and raised his family in Carol Stream, Illinois.
Ken is survived by his wife, Carol of 44 years, his three children, Kenny (Diana), Craig (Shauna) and Tim (Amanda).
He was loved by his seven grandchildren, Makenzie, Avery, Colbie, Riley, Zoey, Evan and Nicholas. He was the loving brother of Rosanne Pacana.
Ken was a man who loved his family. Everything Ken did, he did with his family in my mind. He was happiest when he was with his family. All Ken always wanted was for everyone to be together. Ken loved to travel, always taking his family on memorable road trips. He also loved what he did for a living as he worked in produce his entire life. Ken specialized in banana ripening and took pride in being "the banana man" to all his loved ones.
Ken was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed cooking for his family. He was always happiest and at his best when working in the kitchen.
A memorial mass is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Thursday August, 3rd @ Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Carol Stream, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
