Kenneth Oscar Siderman, 76, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born in Howell, MI, he was the son of the late Oscar and Ellen King Siderman and the husband of the late Sandra "Sandy" Henry Siderman of fifty-five years. He was an Ordained Minister and was a sales associates for Home Depot in Greenville. Kenneth was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church in Simpsonville and he played the trombone in the church orchestra.
Survivors include three sons, David Siderman and wife, Ann of Gilbert, SC, Daniel Siderman and wife, Claire of Kingsley, MI and James Siderman and wife, Karen of Nampa, ID; two daughters, Angela Norvell and husband, John of Kingsley, MI and Amy Weber and husband, Jay of Duncan, SC; thirteen grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan, Jack, Sarah, Jahred, Luke, Wesley, Adelia, Kelly, Craig, Breanna, Nate and Kelsey; and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Leyon.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Mary, Susie, and Margie.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Five Forks Baptist Church Pastor Jeff Black and Pastor Scott Gillespie officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11AM until 12PM prior to the service. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
A luncheon will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

I was saddened to learn of Ken's passing. He and I attended Howell High School together and we were both in the band. I remember that Ken was given the John Phillip Sousa Award when he graduated in 1966. We both played in a quintet called the Street Corner Brass, starting out by playing Christmas music on the sidewalks of Howell, Michigan and going on to play popular music at various places and events afterward. Ken took trombone lessons at Michigan State University while still in high school, and I often rode with him to East Lansing where I also took lessons on my trumpet. We reconnected many years later and stayed in touch via email. My sincerest condolences to Ken's family and friends. He will be missed.
