Kenneth Gene Simeroth, 80, of Gore, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, in Muskogee. He was born to AJ "Trusty" and Laura Isabel "Belle" (Snow) Simeroth on Sept. 19, 1943, in Porum.
Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and later pursued a career at Sequoyah Fuels. He attended Porum High School and furthered his education at Connors State College and Northeastern State University.
He was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Webbers Falls. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, attending auctions and supporting Gore High School football and basketball.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his daughters Nicole Kuhns (Kyle) and Carmen Gray (Robert); son Kyle; grandchildren, Trevor Kuhns (Moriah), Michael Gray, Ari Kuhns, Brendan Kuhns and Reese Kuhns; as well as his great-grandchildren, Arianna Miravalles, Michael Kuhns, Spencer Gray and Ayden Kuhns. Other survivors include his brothers, Carl and Jim Simeroth; sister, Frances Marrel; brother-in-law, George Adkins; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Susette (Adkins) Simeroth. Also preceding Gene were his parents, brothers, Raymond, John, Leonard, Joe Perry and Clyde, and sisters, Evelyn, Helen and Louise.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund (PO BOX 53, Webbers Falls, Oklahoma 74470) or Gore Public Schools Athletics (1200 N Hwy 10 Gore, Oklahoma 74435).
Kenneth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Viewing is from Noon until 7 p.m. Wednesday at St Joseph Catholic Church in Webbers Falls with Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday April 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskogee. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
