Kenneth Horace Sorensen, 48, of Mayfield, passed away on October 24, 2024 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Kenny left to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He was born December 20, 1975 in Salt Lake City to Harvey J Sorensen and Patricia Sorensen-Hackworth. Kenny was our earth bound angel and the Lord called him home.
Kenny was the happiest if he could make someone else smile or laugh. He loved life and was full of it! He made friends wherever he went, and hated to see anyone sad. He did his best to correct that. He was a lover of all living creatures from humans to animals.
Kenny is finally able to be free from his physical body that had restrictions. He can run, jump, climb trees, whatever he wants to do now.
Christmas time was his favorite time of year. He was always so excited to see the lights, trees and Santa! So enjoy Christmas and celebrate not only the season, but let Kenny see you and make him happy that we are not sad for him on his favorite day.
He is survived by his parents, Harvey J Sorensen, Patricia (Rob) Hackworth; brother, Logan H (Jamie) Sorensen; nieces, Kimberly Hunt, Maygan Sorensen; nephews, Ryan Phillips, Wyatt Demille; uncles, David (Cathy) Stallworth, Phillip Sorensen.
He is preceded in death by his baby sister, Megan; grandparents, Horace and Afton Sorensen, J. Kenneth and Elva Stallworth and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All greeting him with open arms and hearts.
We would like to give a very special thanks to the Sanpete Community Training Center for all the care and love they have shown Ken through the years. There have been many providers that have been a part of our family by loving him. Thank you to all of you! A special and loving thank you to SherRane and Polly. Thank you with all our hearts to Gunnison Valley Hospital, Utah Valley Hospital, and to all the doctors and nurses for your care of our sweet angel.
Cremation services will be held. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the Mayfield Ward Building. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
