Kenneth Jay Stewart, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 29, 2024. Born on September 12, 1980, he was the son of Kenneth Jackson Stewart and Judeth Ann Stewart. Kenneth is survived by his father Kenneth, mother Judy, sister Keely, brother Joseph Alan, uncle Mark, aunt Amy, uncle Tommy, aunt Kathy, uncle Mark Childress, aunt Judy Brooks Fremow, and his three beloved children: Kaylee, Paiton, and Jackson.
Kenneth attended Pleasure Ridge Park High School and received his High School certificate in April 1999. He was a talented and versatile tradesman, working in various construction fields, including plumbing, carpentry, flooring, and painting.
In his younger years, Kenneth had a passion for football and baseball. He was a lifelong believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of Greenwood United Baptist Church. Kenneth was known for his warm nature and often enjoyed morning breakfasts with his Mamaw. He loved and adored his three children, taking pride in all of their accomplishments. Kenneth will be deeply missed by his family.
A funeral service to honor Kenneth's life will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the day of the service.
Kenneth's family thanks all who have supported them during this difficult time and invites all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life.
