Kenny Sullens, born on January 19, 1977, departed from this life on May 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and an undeniable zest for life. He was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing him, a truly outgoing spirit who could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. Kenny had an innate ability to connect with people, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a hearty laugh, embodying the essence of friendship and support.
His passion for the outdoors was palpable, as Kenny found joy in riding four wheelers, fishing, and hunting—activities that spoke to his adventurous soul. He was often found around a crackling campfire, where music floated through the night air, strengthening bonds and creating cherished memories with loved ones. The evenings spent under the stars, surrounded by family and friends, were some of his happiest moments, and those memories will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
Kenny took immense pride in the simple things that made his home a warm and welcoming place. He meticulously cared for his front yard, ensuring that the flowers blossomed beautifully, a testament to his nurturing nature. This small detail reflected the larger truth about Kenny: he cherished not only the beauty of nature but also the beauty of human connection.
He is survived by a loving family who will forever hold his memory dear. His mother, Charlene Harrison, and his father, Kenneth Sullens Sr., alongside his sisters, Cindy Sullens and Kristina (Harry) Gann, will miss his laughter and his unwavering support. His legacy continues with his cherished nephews and nieces—DJ, Devon, Rachel, Jack, Alec, and Heather—as well as his beloved great-niece, Peyton, who will grow up knowing the story of their remarkable uncle.
Though Kenny has joined the ranks of those who have passed before him, including his dear grandmother, Betty Bousson, his brother-in-law, Chris Gann, his late sister, Lynn Harrison, and his stepfather, Bill Harrison, his spirit will carry on in the memories and hearts of those who loved him.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate the life of Kenny Sullens will take place on June 7, 2025, from 3 PM to 7 PM with a 6 PM Sharing Service at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, located at 29440 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092.
