Kenneth Edward Uptegrove, 87, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord April 2, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born November 23, 1936, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Edward and Helen Keiser Uptegrove. He was the author of two books, loved writing and researching Christian History and visiting with people and telling them about the Lord. He attended Cross Church for over twenty years and had served in the United States Army. He is preceded by his parents, his one true love, Joyce Marie (Smith) Uptegrove, and a brother, Johnny Uptegrove.
Kenneth is survived by three sons: Brian Uptegrove and Kathy of Springdale, Arkansas; Gregg Uptegrove and Tracy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and Brad Uptegrove of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers: Roger Keiser and Daniel Uptegrove; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Private burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery with military honors at a later date. Donations made be made to a Go Fund Me Account that has been established in Loving Memory of Kenneth Uptegrove.
