Born April 4, 1953 in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was the son of Thelma Vanover Evans and the late Kenneth R. Evans. Kenny was a faithful member of Journey Church. He was a skilled mechanic with a deep love for old cars. Kenny spent countless hours under the hood helping keep family and friends' vehicles running. His passion for vintage cars wasn't just a hobby, it was a way of life. Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 53 years, Judy Ann Crowe Vanover, two sons: Kenneth Ray Vanover, Jr., and Anthony Wayne Vanover, both of Versailles. Five siblings; Doug Evans, Donald Evans, Tim (Wendy) Evans, Cheda (Lynn) Evans, and Charlotte Gill, all of Versailles. Kenny is further survived by his grandchildren; Jonathan Vanover, Joshua Vanover, Ethan Vanover, Logan Vanover, Landon Vanover, Evan Vanover, Lincoln Vanover, Jackson Ruckel, and Anna Ruckel; one great-grandson, Bronson Vanover; special niece, Regina Foley, special friend, Douglas (Tammy) Estepp, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Evans, and Bobby Evans.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 also at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, Pastor Randy Nation officiating.
