Kenneth R. Warfield, age 71, of Watson, Illinois passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Springfield, Illinois.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2023 at Watson Baptist Church with a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Aaron Cline will be officiating. Interment will be at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Illinois. Memorials may go Watson Baptist Church or the donor's choice.
Kenneth was born on July 15, 1952 in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Paul and Jessie Burton. He married Tommi A. Young on April 5, 1986 in Robinson. He was a member of the Watson Baptist Church. Kenneth took great pride in working on his tractors in the shed and teasing his grandchildren.
He is survived by his dad, Paul Burton of Toledo; wife, Tommi Warfield of Watson; sons, Kenny Warfield (wife Leila) of Hewitt, Texas and Richard Shawn Newlin of Watson; daughter, Beth Sowers (husband Taylor) of Toledo; sister, Sheila Fritts (husband Tom) of Toledo; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Jessie Burton; son, Brad Newlin; and sister, Sharon Seeley.
