Mr. Kenneth Vance "Kenny" Welch

Kenneth "Kenny" Vance Welch, 62, of Walhalla, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at his home.
A native of Oconee County, Kenny was the son of Vance Bieman Welch and Elizabeth Jennings Welch Vaughn. He was a Veteran of the United States National Guard and of the Baptist faith. Kenny was a self-employed mechanic and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a deep love for cars, his country, and the Walhalla community, where he spent his life building lasting friendships. Kenny will be remembered as a loving son, father, "Papa Kenny", and friend.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is survived by his sons: Matthew Welch, Shane Welch, and Robbie Pelfrey; daughter: Paige Thompson (David J.); brother: Martain "Marty" Bradley Welch; beloved grandchildren: Daelyn, Brynn, and Aiden "Bubba"; and girlfriend: Penny Milford.
Kenny was preceded in death by his brothers: Dana Eric Welch, and Randy Bieman Welch; and sister: Cynthia W. Portalatain.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM-2:00, on Saturday July 5, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
