Kenneth Eugene Werline, age 71, of Vanceburg, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville, Kentucky, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Monday, December 14, 1953, in Mason County, Kentucky, a son of the late Kenneth and Imogene King Werline.

He enjoyed going to his nieces to drink coffee, babysitting dogs, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Werline and one sister, Donna Osborne.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Carol Hord Werline; two sons, Jacob Werline, of Maysville, Kentucky, Chad Hord of Vass, North Carolina; two daughters, Rachel Ginn of Greenup, Kentucky, Susan Lanthorn of Vanceburg, Kentucky; three sisters, Karen Morgan of Aberdeen, Ohio, Vicki Rydell of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Tammy( Freddie) Cluxton of Aberdeen, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild along with many other family and friends that will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 Ky 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Brother David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenizer Cemetery in Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.

Johnny Osborne, Chad Hord, Ashley Hornback, Brian Simmons, Nathaniel Gill, Thomas Clark, Jon Michael Hampton will serve as pallbearers.

Freddie Cluxon, Gary Mason and Michael Hampton will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Tollesboro Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Kenneth Eugene Werline
