Kenneth H. Wild

enneth H. Wild passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 94. Pre-deceased by his parents, Kenneth and Helen Wild; and grandson, Liam Stewart. Survived by his wife, Candace (Lowenguth) Wild; daughter, Kristin Galusha-Wild; brother, David (Barbara) Wild; nephew, Scott (Debbie) Wild, and extended family.

Ken attended Brighton High School and St. Lawrence University, earning an MBA from U of R and RIT. Ken worked for 34 years at Eastman Kodak Company, followed by five years as a co-owner of a computer consulting firm.

Ken loved all sports, especially baseball, which he played for four years in college, two years in the Army, and following discharge, six years in a fast-pitch softball league. His passion for the game lead him to join and play with the Irondequoit Senior Slow Pitch League, where he was thrilled to make new friends in his 90s. All that experience allowed Ken to coach his grandson, Liam. He enjoyed helping young men gain an appreciation for team sports and considered it one of his most important and gratifying accomplishments.

Ken was also a charter member of the Rochester Flying Club, where he raced a sports car at Watkins Glen. He was also a member of Monroe Golf Club for forty years and was lucky enough to have two holes in one.

Ken and Candy made many trips to New York City, visiting their daughter and grandson. They enjoyed being a part of the Allens Creek Valley community and doing their part to maintain the neighborhood.

Services were held privately and an internment at White Haven will follow. Ken will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Kristin and wife of 48 years, Candy.
