KENNETH ZEBUHR Obituary

KENNETH WILLIAM ZEBUHR 1982 - 2018 Today we lost our dad, son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend. Kenneth died suddenly Sunday, January 14, 2018, age 35 at Research Hospital. He was beloved by many and will be missed so much. He loved his boys, his family, fishing, video games, bowling, animals, paintball, golf, hunting (getting his first 9 point buck this winter) and the Renaissance Festival where he participated for the past 20 years. Truly a well-rounded man of many diverse interests. Kenneth was born August 30, 1982 to Carl and Kim (Marsh) Zebuhr. He was a lifelong resident of Belton and a graduate of Belton High School. He attended Longview and Metropolitan Community Colleges. Well-schooled in various aspects of the building trades he was presently employed by Thermal Tech. Kenneth is survived by two sons, Alexandre and Xavier; parents Carl and Kim Zebuhr; grandparents Jack (Nita) Marsh and Mona (Joe Gray) Marsh, several aunts, cousins and extended family members: Amber (Kyle) Larkey, Nick Wasmer (dau Alina), Tracy (Dean) Olson, Carl A. Zebuhr, Nicole (Crosby) Case. There was cremation. A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held this spring. Conributions are suggested to a memorial fund in Kenneth's name for his boys, that will be set up at a later date. Condolences may be made at www.mcgilleygeorgebelton.com

Kenneth was a very good friend, bowler, he was a brother to me. We met in a bowling alley in KC, Mo. We started our first youth bowling league in in Fall of 1993. We won several youth champs with 1st place trophies for over 6 years until we started our first adult league in 1999. I wish I had a picture of him personally but I do not have any memories except for his kindness, laughter, & caring for others, he was *never* self-centered. I am going to miss him for the rest of my lifetime

A father, A friend, A parent. it is these things I will remember you by. You, the strongest of us, always seeming like you'll be the last one of us to die... but I never knew that this day would come so soon. the suddenness to it... I never said the things I wanted to say to you. never got to say sorry for things I wanted to apologize for. Never got to do the things we planed to do. but these things them self's are not what made them special, its doing them with you, and now those moments are lost forever. and I will always miss you dad, your goofy smile. your kind heart. your bear hugs and your strength for your family and your friends. as we were your strength, your way of happiness, you were mine. just saying I love you and I'll miss you is no where close enough to how much I really will.

Omg January 20, 2018
OMG Little Brother

A river of tears cannot convey
the pain I feel inside
A ringing phone a message read and answered DISBELIEF
Empty Hollow words Drowning Grief
the voice telling me you had died
As moments flash & memories begin to flood my mind
My heart breaks when I think of the two little boys you left behind
Scared no more will you ever be
by the "HOPPER GRASSES" raised from the yard by me
So many years ago in the long grass you stood eyes wide and body still
A rock hit the ground thrown by my hand The mighty swarm took flight
Thunderous laughter sounded from my core just as you screamed and ran fast as you could for the kitchen door
Through the years into a man you grew
Only we talked of the things we both had made it through
My ears and eyes when I wanted not to see or hear
Reassurance echoed in your voice
Always calmed my fears
So young to be lost to us all
I will think of you always when bagpipes chant or a horn calls
Especially at the crunching of changing leaves colors drifting off trees into tall jumpable piles every fall
Always & Forever my little brother you'll be
A True Friend and only to me...the nickname I gave you many years ago
When away you went with my special raggedy bear "Pooh"!!
My little "Kenny Winnie Wooh" with that goofy smile and hearty laugh is what I see everytime I think of you!
Love Forever & Always
Your BigSister Nicole

You will be forever loved and missed but NEVER FORGOTTEN. The man you became should be an inspiration to everyone! You were a devoted loving father, goofy brother, caring friend and great leader! You enjoyed life to the fullest and made everyday count. I hope you know how much you ment to all of us! Now's your time to finaly relax without worry kick back and watchover from above. I still can't wrap my head around you being gone!
