Kenny Dean Hawkins was born in Yakima, Washington, on October 24, 1967. He passed away on March 3, 2025.
Kenny worked in construction for many years to provide for his family. He was well known and widely regarded as a hardworking man who tried to do right by everyone the best he knew how.
His passion was cars and turning wrenches. You could pick any vehicle, and he could tell you anything and everything you wanted to know about it. Especially Camaros and Corvettes. In his free time, he colored, collected hot wheels, and of course worked on his many project cars. However, what he found the most enjoyment in was his relationship with his children and spending all the time he could with his growing army of grandchildren.
Kenny fought a long and taxing 20-year battle with numerous health problems, and he kept persevering until the wheels finally fell off. He was one tough SOB. Anyone who knew him even in the slightest wouldn't be able to tell you different. Kenny was loved deeply and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita, his three siblings, Kathy (Skik), Tammy and Timothy, his three children, Amanda, Samantha, and Joseph, his five grandchildren, Zayden, Ayzlee, Oakley, Wren, and Mayvis and his brother from another mother, Dennis.
