Kenny Kohan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adcock Funeral Home - Spring Lake on Feb. 4, 2026.
Kenneth Christopher Kohan, 43, of Spring Lake, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in his home on January 31st, 2026.

Kenny was born to the late Andrew "Andy" Joseph Kohan and Russell "Ann" Kohan on November 22nd, 1982 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Kenny was reunited in Heaven with his brother Joseph Kohan, and father-in-law Lonnie "Jay" Paul.

Kenny leaves behind his loving wife, TaLisa Kohan, his daughter Kelsie and her husband Jason Barnes, his sister Susan and her husband Billy Holloman, two nieces Liliana and Isabella, his mother-in-law Rosalie Paul, his sister-in-law Lauren Paul, and his loyal canine companion Diesel.

Kenny was a big man with an even bigger heart. He was known for his immense love for family and friends. He dedicated over twenty years working for Temple Grading mentoring the greatest crew. In leisure time, he enjoyed listening to music, performing in sound system competitions, fishing, hunting, and spending time with the ones he cared about.

Everyone who knew Kenny, knew he firmly believed family was not always blood. We would like to honor and thank his chosen family for the love and memories they shared.

His Celebration of Life will be held at Adcock Funeral Home on February 7th, 2026. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM. A service will follow at 12:30 PM. In addition, all friends and family are invited to Temple Grading from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, to further honor Kenny's memory.

In lieu of flowers, we ask donations to be made to the OHS Athletic Booster Club.
