Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ezra Lee Pugh, Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Rita Bennett; brother-in-law, Donnie Bennett. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bennett Pugh, Buford; children, Brandy Brownlee and husband Shane, Jefferson, and Kyle Pugh and wife Amanda, Jefferson; grandchildren Tanner Brownlee, Ryleigh Brownlee, Hoyt Pugh, and Karter Pugh; brothers, Keith Pugh and wife Sandy, Toccoa, and Scott Pugh, Buford, and Linda Swansey, Buford; brother-in-law, Danny Bennett, Buford; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Kent was a 1976 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. He worked for 11 years at General Motors and 25 years at Charles Pruitt Enterprises. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Kent was married to his beloved wife Debbie for 42 years and loved his family dearly. He was a simple man who was known as "Mr. Fix It".
