Kent Schneider, 65, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away on November 12, 2025.
Kent was born on December 17, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Kenneth Louis Schneider and Elvira Martha Schneider.
Kent is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Schneider, and his son, Jordan Alexander Carpender. He is also survived by his siblings: Doris Conners, Mike Schneider (Linda), Jeff Schneider (Denise), and Steve Schneider (Teresa).
Kent is survived by many nieces and nephews: Lauren (Patrick), Leslie, Chris (Liz), Gabrielle (Daniel), Kevin, Donovan, Collin, Jennifer, Alex, Jeffery (Tammy), Angela (Rex), and Ron Ray (Denise), along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Ronnie Ray (Millie) and his mother-in-law Lena Ray.
Kent was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kevin Schneider.
Kent was a proud University of Kentucky fan and loved all things UK. He enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, woodworking, and gardening. He cherished his family and gatherings, and everyone who knew him loved him. He had an infectious laugh, a joyful spirit, and truly never met a stranger. Kent worked as a truck driver for Estes for many years. 15 years prior to working at Estes Kent worked 30 years at Seneca Auto and truck and he was a part owner.
The family asks that donations be made in Kent’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would also like to share that Kent was an organ donor where he will be able to help and save many lives.
Visitation will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will be held again on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, with burial to follow.
