Kenton Terry Langman, Age 71, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
He was born May 5, 1953 in Two Rivers, son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Kracht) Langman. Kenton was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He attended Manitowoc Lutheran High School, graduating with the class of 1971. He continued his education at Lakeshore Technical Institute, graduating in 1974 with an Associate's Degree in marketing. On March 26, 1977 he married Donna Gospodarek at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Kenton worked his whole life at Brown's of Two Rivers from 1969 until his retirement in 2022. He began working for Raymond Brown and in 2005 he took over ownership. This business was his passion in life.
Kenton is currently a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. He served as an usher, church cleaning, and the banner team. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Alex was his best friend and they loved driving the pontoon boat, playing pinball, racing their slot cars, and watching videos on the iPad. Sleepovers were their most requested activity! He enjoyed his second home in Townsend boating around the lake or sitting by the campfire. Kenton was a parent in the Nutcracker for many years beginning in 1990. He loved being on stage until his "wives" were younger than his own children.
Kenton is survived by his wife: Donna Langman, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Greg and Amanda Langman, and their children: Karalynn, Alex, and Amelia, Manitowoc, and Owen and Faith Langman, Madison, WI; his siblings: brother and sister-in-law: Richard and Linda Langman, Manitowoc, and their children: Scott and Pam Langman, Two Rivers, Kyle Langman, Manitowoc, and Kari and Joe Lulloff, Manitowoc; brother and sister-in-law: John and Mindy Langman, Manitowoc, and their son: Brad and Kayla Langman, Manitowoc; his mother-in-law: June Gospodarek; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Thomas and Debbie Meineke, Manitowoc, and their children: Stephanie and Aaron Schmitt, Green Bay, and Jennifer and Jordan Beckman, Auburn, WA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Alan and Gina Gospodarek, and their son Matt, all of Manitowoc; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Anthony and Deanna Gospodarek, Holland, PA; as well as other relatives and friends. Kenton was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law: Richard Gospodarek; and sisters-in-law: Lynn and Lois Gospodarek.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2426 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ryan Henning. Following the service, a luncheon will be held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water Street, Manitowoc. Kenton will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, with the church service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Kenton's name to Grace Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
