Kerrell Lauramore Cox, 79, of Macclenny, passed from this life and into eternal rest on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Kerrell was the daughter of the late Roy and Thelma Johns Lauramore, born on July 26, 1946. Kerrell was a proud and loving mother, who enjoyed spending her time surrounded by her family. She enjoyed her time spent at church and will be remembered as a God fearing woman. She also enjoyed tending a garden when she was able.
She was preceded in death by her late husband of 46 years, Albert Cox, Sr., brothers, Arthur Lee Lauramore and JC Lauramore, and sisters, Ruby Lee Davis and Kathryn Pryde.
She is survived by her children, Albert (Julie) Cox, Jr., Vickie (Charlie) Burnham, and Kathy (John) Klotz all of Macclenny, and Amy (Shane) Conner of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Joel (Lauren) Cox, Joshua (Lexie) Cox, Chris (Amanda) Burnham, C.W. (Katie) Burnham, Dylan (Alyssa) Burnham, John Klotz, Daryl Klotz, Caden Conner, and Camden Conner; great grandchildren, Jamie, Easton, Emily, Bella, Izzy, Ridge, Ashton, and one on the way, Jovie; sisters, Eloise Davis, Doris (Wayne) Deese, Mary Lauramore, and Sandy Lauramore all of Macclenny, and Marie (James) Brown of Blountstown; one brother-in-law, Frank “Buddy” (Barbara) Cox of Taylor; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Church with Rev. Shane Conner officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery.
