Kerry Allyn Cavitt

Kerry Allyn Cavitt, of Cape Coral, FL, peacefully gained his heavenly wings on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 74. Born in Elgin, IL, Kerry lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and craftsmanship.
A skilled mason, home builder, and craftsman, Kerry took great pride in his work, leaving behind a legacy of strong foundations-both in the homes he built and in the lives he touched. His passion for life extended beyond his work; he found joy in scuba diving, especially in the crystal-clear waters of the Cayman Islands, and never passed up a good plate of Mexican food.
Kerry's sense of humor was legendary-his quick wit and infectious laughter could brighten any room. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Heidi Cavitt and Heather Poulin, and a cherished father-in-law to Wally Poulin. His love extended to his grandchildren, Brianna Schwing, Josh Cavitt, Matthew Poulin, and Andrew Poulin, who will always remember Papa's wisdom, warmth, stories of his youth, and laughter.
Kerry's adventurous spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons passed down, and the love he so freely gave.
