Kerry Wilhelm Obituary

Kerry was born September 15, 1964, in Maquoketa, to Charles and Gloria (Tubbs) Wilhelm Sr. He graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1983. Kerry married Diane Miller on October 18, 1986, in Maquoketa. Together they had two sons, Erik and Brian. They later divorced.
Kerry worked as a union factory worker for many years at Rousselot Gelatin Factory in Dubuque, Iowa. Kerry was known to have the gift of gab and was the king of giving nicknames to friends and family. He always kept change in his pockets to give to his grandchildren. Kerry was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Kerry is survived and lovingly remembered by his sons, Erik (Jessica) Wilhelm of Maquoketa, and Brian Wilhelm of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Gage Campbell, Mackenzie "Chipmunk" (Weston) Wilhelm, Karter Wilhelm, Tori Wilhelm, Will Clark, Waylon Wilhelm, and Jaxon Wilhelm; his sister, Jeanie Bowling of Maquoketa; and his brothers, Charles (Tina) Wilhelm, Roy (Deb) Wilhelm, and Curt Wilhelm, all of Maquoketa.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Ken Bowling.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
