Kevin Boland, age 65 of Plymouth passed away on February 28, 2023 after a brief but difficult struggle with cancer. He was born in Detroit to John and Clara Boland on July 15, 1957. He graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 1975.
Kevin wed the love of his life and his best friend Marilyn on September 8, 1984. They made their home in Plymouth and Traverse city. Marilyn passed away on January 1, 2019. Together they were mentors and supporters for their families and their loyal friends. They were both fun and caring. Kevin recently retired after 36 years as an accomplished Sales Manager at Weather Shield Windows & Doors.
Team sports were an important part of Kevin's life as a participant, coach, and, with Marilyn, an avid fan. He enjoyed boating, loved nature, Euchre, music and spent time restoring antique furniture and wooden boats.
Kevin is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Lynne and Lou Riley, Peggy and Dan Jenkins, Pat and Jim Boland/Songer and Jeanne and Dave McFarlane, his late brother Mike Boland's wife Audrey, and Marilyn’s sister Cindy and husband Doug. His family circle included his beloved niece Katie and nephews Scott, Todd, Michael, Dan, Brian, David John, Jason, and Sean. His many great nephews and nieces shared his love.
Kevin’s lifelong commitment to “treating others as he’d like to be treated”, his grace, humility and sense of humor were the foundation of the love and admiration of more friends than one could ever hope for.

Kevin I miss you. I go to call you and remember I cannot. I read an article and want to share it with you. I know I was upset when I was no longer the youngest when you born. I simply don't want to be the youngest now. Love you brother. Jeanne

I am so sad to hear of Kevin's passing. What a great guy he was. I met him when he became our Weathershield rep at Midwest Door and Window 30 years ago. He always had a smile on is face and was just so kind. He will be missed.
