Beloved Brother and Friend to all
WATERBURY – Kevin Brown, age 64, of Waterbury, departed this life unexpectedly on April 16, 2023, at Saint Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.
Kevin was born February 28th, 1959, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Thomas and Patricia (Jamele) Brown. Kevin was a graduate of Crosby High School and spent many years working as a mechanic maintainer for the City of Waterbury and most recently worked as a maintenance worker at the Saint Vincent DePaul Shelter. Kevin was a talented mechanic and car enthusiast who enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time on the beach or boating. He was a member of the Westbrook Elks Club and enjoyed hosting and cooking for pool parties and for the holidays with his family and friends. He would always look forward to his weekly Thursday night setback games. Kevin will be very much missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his brothers; Tom Brown and David Brown both of Waterbury, and his girlfriend, Sharon Guerrette, of Waterbury. He also leaves his nieces, Megan Brown of Waterbury, and Erin Parrow of Forest Hill, MD, his very best friend, Benny, and many, many friends too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Brown and sister-in-law, Janice Brown.
A Memorial Gathering for Mr. Brown will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence, words of comfort, or share a memory with the family and friends of someone important to you.
