Kevin Caster

Kevin E. Caster, age 64, longtime resident of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday. Kevin was born May 27, 1961, in Watertown the son of Earl Caster and Carole Roser. He spent his elementary years at APW schools and later graduated high school in Sarasota, FL in 1979. Kevin was married to his wife of 38-years, Kelly Atkinson Caster on July 11, 1987. He proudly owned and operated K. Caster's Lawn Care in Pulaski for the past 20 years, a business he truly loved. Through his dedication and hard work, many of his valued clients became lasting friends. He had previously been employed by Deaton's Ace Hardware in Pulaski.

Kevin was a member of the Pulaski Wesleyan Church. He found great joy in the magic of Christmas, transforming his home each year with twinkling lights and carefully arranged holiday villages complete with tiny houses and running trains. The season brought out his childlike wonder, which he happily shared with family and friends. He also loved a good card game and treasured every moment spent with his two beloved grandchildren.

Kevin is survived by his wife Kelly of Pulaski, son Kyle (Elizabeth) Caster of Mexico and two grandchildren, Myra and Michael as well as his mother and stepfather, Carole Roser (Joe) Valvo and brother Mark Sprague both of Rome. Kevin was predeceased by his father, Earl, stepmother, Judy and father and mother in-law, James and Patricia Atkinson.

Funeral services will be held 4p.m., Saturday, March 7th at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church, 4591 US Route 11, Pulaski, NY with a spring burial in Daysville Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held at the church from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are in care of Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
