It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Patrick Corken, who left this world on November 8, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. Born on March 23, 1956, Kevin lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was 68 years old.
Kevin was the beloved son of Michael and Jacqueline Corken, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his cherished children: Amy Hudnut, Christopher (Shelly) Corken, and Matthew (Lillie) Corken, along with their mother, Lori Corken Young (Rick). Kevin took immense pride in being a father, and his children will always remember him as a loving and fun presence in their lives.
The legacy of love that Kevin built will continue through his six grandchildren: Julian Corken, Andrew Hudnut, Ali Corken, Madison Hudnut, Jackson Hudnut, and Ollie Corken. He is also survived by his loving brothers Michael, John (Cammy), Daniel (Stephanie), Patrick (Shawn), and Timothy (Karen), and his devoted sisters Cathleen, Mary Kelley, and Colleen Grant (Matt). Kevin was also blessed with the joy of 11 nieces and nephews and 5 great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry fond memories of him in their hearts.
Kevin led a vibrant life filled with hobbies and interests that reflected his passion for living. As an avid golfer, he spent many joyful days on the course, sharing laughs and camaraderie with sons and brothers. He was particularly proud of his son Matt's musical talents and found great joy in listening to him perform.
Above all, Kevin treasured the time spent with his family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Known for his loving nature, Kevin was a great father and everyone's friend. His humor and warmth touched the lives of many, and he had a unique ability to make those around him feel special. Friends and family alike will remember him for his kind heart and infectious laughter.
Visitations for Kevin will be held at Flanner and Buchanan in Broad Ripple on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, from 5-8 P.M. A funeral service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on November 15, 2024, at 11 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Indianapolis, followed by graveside services at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Indianapolis, where Kevin will be laid to rest next to his loving parents. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember a man whose spirit will forever shine brightly in the lives he touched.
As we say goodbye to Kevin Patrick Corken, let us carry forward the love he shared, the laughter he spread, and the memories that will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
