Kevin K. Duffner, age 82, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026 in his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 8, 1943 in Crestline, Ohio to the late Martin & Martha Cochran Duffner.

Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. He met the love of his life, Mary Jane Long while working together at Shafer Valve in Ontario. They got married on August 15, 1981 and spent 40 plus years together making memories and enjoying life. Kevin also worked as a correctional officer for the state of Ohio for 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland.

He will be fondly remembered by his loving wife, Mary Jane Duffner; his children, Claris Lynn Taylor and Connie Duffner; his step-children, Bambi King, Kimberly (Michael) Collins and Todd (Amy) DeVoe; his grandchildren, Michael (Shanna), Levi (Morgan), Stephan, Alysha (Doug), Nick (Paige), Aaron, Nathan, Aidan (Reganne); Kevin also leaves behind several great-grandchildren and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Duffner; He was also preceded in death by several siblings and extended family members.

A time for family and friends to gather will be on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The United States Marine Corps Honor Guard will close out our service time with a tribute to Kevin for his honorable service. A private burial will take place in Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown at a later date.
