Kevin Ray Ellis, 63, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at his home on November 2, 2025. He was born April 27, 1962, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Keith Ellis and Herma (Butler) White.
Kevin worked at Hi-Performance Superabrasives, Inc., where he was known for his sense of humor and friendly personality. His coworkers described him as someone who loved to joke around, talk sports, and make friendly bets on games. His work family was a close-knit group, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoyed watching sports, relaxing "on his rug," and spending time with his pride and joy - his car, Molly. He cared deeply for his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren, who brought him a great sense of pride. Kevin was loved by many and will be remembered for his distinct personality and quick wit that could make anyone laugh.
He is survived by his children, Dustin Ellis (Jeremy), Katrina (Robert) Page, and Shelbie Ellis; his grandchildren, Hayden, Ayda, Alex, Ledger, and Alice; his Pops, Earl White; his brother, Shannon (Carrie) Mastin; and his stepsisters, Glenna (Michael) Nicoletti, Jeanie (Michael) Hull, and Susie (Matt) Jameson. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, as well as close friend, Greg Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson Indiana 46013. His funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory.
The graveside service will take place at Anderson Memorial Park.
