Publish in a newspaper

Roy Scott Pettigrew, known to most as Scott, was born in Anderson, IN on June 10, 1967, and
passed unexpectedly on November 2, 2025, from complications of a lifetime diagnosis of
asthma.
Scott was referred to by most as the life of the party, and a friend to anyone who met him. He
did not know the term stranger. For many years, Scott was involved with The Anderson
Speedway, helping racers fix and improve their cars. Working on cars, trucks and anything
with an engine was what he lived to do. He enjoyed the work so much that he opened, ran and
owned his own shop on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Anderson for over 25 years, Scott's Paint
and Body.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Pettigrew; mother, Donna Pettigrew; and
brother, Kent Pettigrew. He is survived in death by daughters, Courtnie Pettigrew (Mark Miller)
and Ashley Pettigrew, as well as his sister, Christine Kudlac (Keith). He also left behind several
nephews and a niece, and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Loose Funeral
Homes & Crematory with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Cremation to take place following service.
Visitation for Scott will be on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory from
1:00 pm until the time of the service.
