Kevin Faulk, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 50. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. at St. James Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. He was born on May 21, 1974, in Lubbock, TX, and most recently resided in Tulsa, OK.

Kevin's greatest joy in life was spending time with his large family and numerous friends. He had an adventurous spirit and loved trying new foods, going on exciting experiences, and creating lasting memories. Known for his infectious laughter and quick wit, Kevin had the superpower of making people laugh.

While in Lubbock he attended Estacado High School, and then later attended Texas Tech University. In Tulsa, Kevin later pursued a career as a Currier. Kevin had a passion for pigeon racing, WWE wrestling, and music. He was affectionately known as "Tatahead" among his loved ones.

In 1996, Kevin met the love of his life, Mary Powell, and together they raised a beautiful family. He leaves behind his cherished children: Zabodrick, Jakefee, Jevonte, Deatron, Ti’Anna, Dejhori, Malcolm, Michael, Marquis, Aelicia, Felicia, and D'onté. Kevin was a proud and doting grandfather to his adored grandchildren: Zy'lla, Mya, Kyran, Imani, Darius, KyAhni, Mason, and Leila. Kevin also leaves behind a host of nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Faulk, and his siblings Stephney Patterson, L.V. Faulk Jr., Kendrick Faulk, and his spiritual brother Cedric Payton. He was predeceased by his father, L.V. Faulk Sr.

Known for his vibrant and mischievous personality, Kevin was the life of every gathering. He had a knack for spreading joy and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
