Kevin Hayes

Kevin Maurice Hayes, Sr., was born on May 6, 1952, to James Herbert Hayes and Winifred Griffin Hayes. He attended Washington High School in Indianapolis,Indiana. Kevin held many jobs when he wasn't running the streets of Haughville. On October 1, 1979, he married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Gibbs, and of their union bought three kids. Kevin spent the latter years of his life at North Capitol Nursing and Rehab Cente. He was loved by everyone. He was affectionately known as ""Mr. Haughville"" because he loved talking about Haughville. Kevin Maurice Hayes, Sr., departed this life on August 13, 2021, at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Anita Rene, his brother, James Hayes, his son, Kevin Maurice Hayes, Jr., and his son-in-law, Henry S. Wheeler, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 42 years, Barbara Gibbs Hayes; his daughters, Dinita Wheeler and Deanna Hayes; his granddaughters, Denedra Hayes and Whitney Odom; his grandsons, Evan Maurice Hayes, Devin Deron Hayes, Eran Maurice Hayes, and Edan Maurice Hayes; his great-granddaughters, DaNae Hayes and Ezleann Hayes; brothers, Brock Griffin and Michael Hayes; his niece, Qiana Hayes, and nephew, Anthony ""Weedy"" Hayes; and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
