Kevin Francis King, age 60, of Morristown, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Kevin was born on March 18, 1965 in Summit, NJ to Francis and Patricia King. He graduated from Delbarton School in 1983, earned a BS from Bucknell University in 1987 and went on to earn an MBA from Seton Hall University. He was a dedicated financial professional at Prudential, AT&T and AIG. Kevin grew up in Berkeley Heights, NJ and with his wife Jennifer raised their family in Morristown, NJ.
Kevin enjoyed spending time with friends and family; traveling domestically and abroad; playing, in his able-bodied years, and watching, a variety of sports including golf, tennis, soccer, and skiing. Over the years Kevin volunteered by coaching youth soccer, preparing personal tax returns in underserved communities, and working with Habitat for Humanity and at local PGA tournaments. He was a most loving and cherished husband, father, son, brother and uncle. His family will miss him dearly.
Kevin is survived by his wife Jennifer (nee Levy); their children Julia and Andrew; his father Frank; his brother Jeffrey and sister-in-law Deborah; his nieces Noelle (Anthony, Riley, Taylor) and Brittany (Mason, Brooke, Barry); his mother-in-law Irene (Al); sister-in-law Pamela (Horst); and nephews Alex and Ben. Kevin also leaves behind a loving and supportive extended family and many friends whom we consider family. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia King (nee Pelos) and his father-in-law, Jack Levy.
A funeral service will be held at the Morris Museum at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 2. Family and friends are invited to join us in "smart-casual" attire. Black attire and suits are completely unnecessary.
