Kevin grew up in suburban Washington, D. C. and Virginia, graduating from Stonewall Jackson High School in Gainesville, Virginia. Following his graduation he continued his studies at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. For more than 17 years, he resided in Austin, Texas. He was known for his sense humor, dedication to family, love of animals, and adventurous spirit. He was a 32 Degree Master Mason and a member of the Vikings.
Kevin will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Daniela; his mother, Lucy Lucas; his daughters Ashley Ridley (Marcus) and Natalya Lucas; grandsons Jaxon, Xavier, and Xomauri; his beloved Great Dane Blu; and other family and friends.
