Kevin Matz Obituary

He enjoyed being a scout master of the local Boy Scout Troop for many years, and being a member of the American Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club, and going to car shows. In his younger years he enjoyed working alongside his father at their family business Matz Oil Company.
Kevin is survived by his two daughters, Kendra Quintana (husband Gage Quintana), Cayla White ( husband Travis White), and his son Cory Songer and (long time partner Kim Accashian). His 10 grandchildren, Callie, Colby, Madelyn, Hazel, Ivy, and Evy Quintana,
Kevin Miller, Gracelyn White, Cayleigh White, and Brayden White, and his brother Anthony Matz, and many other family members.
He is predeceased by his mother Ardith Brammer and his father James Edgar Matz, Jr., and brother Timothy Edgar Matz, and granddaughter Natalie Quintana, and many other loved ones.
A celebration of his life will be held on October 4th, 2024 at 4:00pm, at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church, 674 Alleghany Spring Road, Shawsville VA 24162.
