Kevin A. McKearin, age 87, died peacefully on Sept. 12, 2024.
Born in Boston, Kevin was the youngest child of John J. McKearin and Margaret (Lillis) McKearin. He is predeceased by his parents and siblings, his beloved sister Jill Paredes (John), and his brothers Jack McKearin (Pauline) and Gerard McKearin and his nephew, 1st Lt. Gregory J Paredes. He is survived by his niece, Kearin Lewis, and her brothers Kevin Paredes and Glenn Paredes and their families as well as many more nieces and nephews.
Most important to Kevin was his love for his family and his devotion to his Catholic faith. He lived a simple life and will be fondly remembered for his sincerity, humility, and gentle and kind spirit.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service at 10 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital). A burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery.
