Voie Funeral & Cremation Care - IolaKevin "Swamp" S. Mork, 56, of Scandinavia passed away on Wednesday,October 1, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1969 in Iola to Pamela (Mork) Madson.
Kevin was an avid pool shooter, playing on multiple leagues in the area. He was a talented artist. Math, especially geometry, came easy to Kevin. These skills helped them in his work doing carpentry for various people. He most recently worked for Moen Farms, driving a tractor. His days in the tractor were some of his favorite.
In his younger days, he was in the band Trubl. He enjoyed working on vehicles. There was not a project that he wouldn't try. The job always got done, but not necessarily the way you would expect.
He was a loving and loyal friend to many, no matter their walk of life. If there was ever a friend he knew that was alone for a holiday, they were being invited to celebrate at house by him.
He had an affection for kittens. They usually came home in pairs. They could be scared of everyone, but would love him.
Kevin always had a sense of humor. As a long time Brewers fan, he made the comment to mom, "That he wished he would be around for the world series". Her reply was "You will have a front row seat". "Right next to Uecker". He was also a fan of racing.
He is survived by his Mother: Pam, Sister: Paula (Matthew) Arndt and Brother: Todd (Rachelle) Madson along with Nephews and a Niece: Noah, Colton and Sheena. He was preceded in death by his Father: Steve Madson, Grandparents: Dorothy & Frank Ambacher and Julian & Belvina Madson, along with numerous aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Silver Lake Lanes in Scandinavia on Sunday, October 12th from 1-4 PM.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Alexa at the nursing home in Watertown, for the care and compassion she showed him.
