Kevin Scott Perkins, Jr., 34, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born January 29, 1991 in New Castle, the son of Kevin Scott, Sr. and Johnna (Zimmerman) Perkins.
Kevin graduated from Knightstown High School where he played baseball. He was a hard worker, enjoyed mowing yards and fishing. He was the best husband and father and especially enjoyed spending time with his children. Kevin was a great friend, loved having fun and was a bit mischievous growing up. He had worked at IFCO in Greenfield for 2 years and had previously worked at IAF. Kevin also loved his dog, Honey Boo Boo.
He is survived by his wife, Hali Perkins; children, Kevin Perkins, III, Kolten Perkins, Kevahlin Perkins; his mother, Johnna Perkins (fiance, Wayne Brunmeier); sisters, Shawna Perkins and Janelle Petro; grandmother, Helen Davis; in-laws, Rickey Lee Chriswell and Sandra Logan; brother-in-law, Ricky Chriswell; uncle, Billy Zimmerman: nieces, Shiann Isenhour and Kelsie Perkins; and nephew, Cannan Johnson.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jessica Perkins; grandmother, Bessie Zimmerman; grandmother- in-law, Ruth Chriswell-Davis; grandfathers, John Zimmerman and Brent Perkins; and a niece, Angel Petro.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM Monday, December 15, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel with the funeral service at 4:00 PM. Condolences and memories of Kevin may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com.
