Kevin B. Rawson, age 63, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Country Meadows Nursing Center in Park Hills. He was born on Friday, April 13, 1962, in Bonne Terre, to the late Bernard Mayfield and Marjorie Lee (Jones) Rawson.
Kevin loved the Lord deeply and currently was attending First Baptist Church of Desloge. He dedicated over 40 years of his life to his work as an electrician, proudly serving under the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1. His skilled hands not only brightened homes but also touched the lives of numerous colleagues and friends. Kevin was a member of the IBEW Local 1 and the National Rifle Association. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Kevin was passionate about life. He enjoyed racing cars along with collecting cars and firearms. His zest for life was infectious, and he cherished every moment spent with his family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his loving daughters, Danielle E. Roberts and husband Joshua, Heather M. Ochs and husband David, Abbey L. Jones and Husband Tom; five grandchildren, Gabriella, Nolan, Lilly, Charli Grace and Luka; brother, Alan Rawson and wife Joyce; sisters, Christa Huff and husband Don, Melissa Clauser and husband Terry, twin sister, Kathy Wann and husband Ed; fur babies, Cassia and Apollo; along with several nieces, nephews, friends and family. Kevin also cherished his late fur babies Buddy and Zues.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM. with Dr. Bradford Laubinger officiating Burial will follow at Saint Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials if desired can be made to First Baptist Church of Desloge.
