Kevin James Rouchon, a beloved son, brother, and friend, peacefully departed from this world on November 4, 2025, in Lumberton, Mississippi, at the age of 50. Born on January 24, 1975, in Zachary, Louisiana, Kevin grew to become a cherished member of his community, known for his selflessness and willingness to lend a helping hand.
A 1994 graduate of Lumberton High School, Kevin furthered his education by attending Pearl River Community College. Throughout his career, he was a true jack of all trades, often called upon by friends and family to fix anything that needed attention. His remarkable talents and knowledge made him a go-to person for many, but it was his sweet and loving nature that truly defined him. Kevin was a man who would help just about anyone without ever asking for anything in return, embodying the spirit of generosity and kindness.
Kevin’s love for life was most evident in the memories he created with his family. One cherished memory was taking his parents to their first Mardi Gras parade, a day filled with joy and celebration that they will always all treasure. His passions also included the great outdoors; he was a true country boy who found immense pleasure in spending time outside, whether it was fishing, grilling, and spending time with friends and family.
Kevin is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Betty Rouchon, his brothers Robbie (Misty) Rouchon and Jason (Tara) Rouchon, and his sister Nicole (Larry) Harper. He leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of kindness and warmth.
As we remember Kevin, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with selfless acts and many cherished memories. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
