Kevin Allan Rupert, aged 46, passed away on September 11, 2025. Born on May 9, 1979, in Canton, OH, Kevin was a beloved son, brother, friend, and passionate individual whose warm spirit touched the lives of many.

Kevin was a proud graduate of Jackson High School, class of 1998, where he first discovered his love for musical instruments, playing trumpet in the school band. His passion for music began when he was a toddler and bloomed into a lifelong obsession, leading him to become a dedicated collector of records, CDs, and audio equipment-amassing a collection of thousands of albums. His enthusiasm for artists like The Beatles was infectious, and he often shared this love with friends and family; and was known to play all of his favorites on full blast. Recently, he had even been trying to pick back up his trumpet playing.

For many years, Kevin worked as a line cook, sharing his culinary skills and vibrant personality with those around him in various restaurants. He took pride in his work and found joy in the camaraderie he built with his coworkers, often picking up extra shifts and spending holidays and special occasions with his work family. His dedication to his craft and his friends was a testament to his generous nature.

Kevin lived in a cozy home in Lake Cable, where he poured his heart into creating a space filled with warmth, comfort, and spent time with his beloved pet cat. During his days off, he relished the simple pleasures of life, enjoying the serenity of his surroundings and taking pride in making his house a home.

Kevin leaves behind his loving parents, Craig and Joy Rupert; and brothers, Andy and Steve.
